All the best in your exams

It’s a sunday… and I’ve got lots of work to do, but I haven’t done it yet =p
I found out how much it is to call back home to Malaysia using my phone card, I just calculated, and guess how much it costs? 16 PENCE A MINUTE!!! That’s RM1.12 per minute!! CRAZY!!! I need to [...]

busy busy busy

Hey guys again…
Very very busy.. most people here have about 5 private study periods (equivalent to something like a free period where you do whatever work you want to do) a week, and guess how many I have? Effectively, NONE!! Well, okay, I do have two private study lessons, but on top of that, I [...]

England..

Well, I guess that I will just put something up here.. Since I’m ‘free’ at the moment..
Arrived at the school on Sunday late (about half an hour late) because I had to go and buy some shoes.. In the end I signed up for 5 subjects, which created some problems, with some clashes here and [...]

MIA? For a while, I guess..

Hey guys, it’s been a VERY long time… hope everything’s fine… School’s fine, got some new friends here, but I’m missing you guys back there, obviously..
Hm.. don’t think I’ll do much now, not until I get my laptop hooked up to the school network.. at the moment I’m on another computer.. so guys, have fun.. [...]

Of Journey…

Hm…

So none of my friends saw me off from the airport huh? =p Nah, that’s okay, you guys were all at school or at work.. But anyway you guys already saw me off, before the 1st of September..

Flight was okay… I didn’t even take out the headphones out of their packaging the whole flight, and I didn’t watch any movies or whatever.. I attempted to sleep the first half of the journey, in which, I did manage to scrape about 4 hrs of sleep.. Not bad, considering that it would have been right in the middle of the day in Malaysia then..

One interesting thing about this flight is that it didn’t show the distance to destination.. Normally they’d show it, like “Distance to destination : 10000km” or something along those lines, but there wasn’t anything this round.. Just the ground speed, altitude and the normal stuff, including distance and direction to Makkah..

I occupied myself mainly by listening to music.. I listened for about 7hrs.. and I also played two games of Worms World Party.. Plane journey was quite smooth, there wasn’t much turbulence (my earlier trip this year had loads of turbulence all throughout the journey).. and the landing was quite smooth..

Ah, a relieve to be out of the plane.. The air was so dry in the plane and just.. unnatural.. Temperature in England was cool, around 20 degrees celcius..

Was sent alone to ‘Health Control’ at immigration. All those staying longer than a period of 6 months are required to have a check up with the Health Control.. There was a long queue, about maybe 40 people. After the long wait, they asked me whether I had gottena chest X-Ray, which, of course, I didn’t, so I got a free one.

Took quite a while though..

After finally passing through immigration, A. Doreen picked us up from the airport and we came to their house.. A nice house in a countrylike surrounding.. VERY nice for pictures.. which I DID take (thanks to my sister for lending me her digicam..) and which I shall put up later on when my dad returns to Malaysia..

Didn’t really expect to be eating Chinese food upon arriving in England.. but yeah, got rice, and typical Chinese food…

Tried to see whether there were any wireless internet connections around the housing area (as my laptop has 802.11b [WiFi]) connection.. I found 2 networks, but one of them was encrypted and the other one, though I could connect, I couldn’t get internet access from it. So I have to survive with this dial-up connection..

I seem to have adjusted quite quickly to the difference in time zones, compared to my previous trips here.. Have been doing some shopping, buying my winter ‘formal’ coat and whatever other stuff needed for school.

My term shall begin on the 5th of September (weird right, on a Sunday), and I do hope that I will be able to update my site from there.

If you noticed, the counter which was previously counting down until my departure from Malaysia is now gone, since it was counting negative numbers.. But, if you still want to see it, it is HERE. Don’t know what you’d want to see it in the first place, but… whatever suits you.

Anyway, go visit http://made4him.ath.cx (lazy to link that)
Don’t abuse my website okay? =p (esp. Ewe Jin and Dewgem)
Have fun all of you guys, whether in school or anywhere else..

I shall finish here for now, I hope to be able to update maybe one more time.. But I will not be able to go on Icq/msn for.. a while, I guess. In fact, I don’t know whether I’ll be able to chat at all online.

But anyway, you can always email me..

arrgh, this UK keyboard layout is different from the ‘normal’ layout that I’m used to.. I keep on typing ‘@’ instead of ” and vice versa..

Till next time then..

But.,

But when we are separated by masses of land and water, the big void between us, will we continue to remember each other in our thoughts? Or will we push the other to a small corner of the mind, forgotten, forsaken and uncared for? For many might fail, becoming just another person.
But some remember. And [...]

The Last Day

My final post, probably. It’s already the 1st of september, and (at point of writing) I only have 8 1/2 hrs left before I leave for the airport… =
Anyway…. Yeah, I’d like to thank everyone once again..
Today was kinda tiring… I got up early, and then went off to school for my supposedly final meet [...]
