[Some] verses of the year

Here are some verses which have made an impact on my life throughout 2008.

Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009!

When I look back upon 2008, I see a year full of both blessings and joy, and at the same time, pain and confusion.
2008 has been an adventure, filled with many surprises, both good and bad, unexpected twists and turns, and ups and downs. I do not even know where to start describing the year, [...]

A Fresh Start?

So, maybe I shall try to restart writing a bit. Nothing serious, nothing long, just for fun. I realized that knowing what happened years ago by reading old posts helps a lot! Not that I expect anyone to read anything, but this is more for me.
So, today marks the end of spring break @ Harvard. [...]

After a long while

After a huge long break from posts, here’s a short one: I’m still alive! But anyway, things are really busy. Which means not much time for anything else. But things are good as well… thank God for friends!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:6-7

It’s been a long time since I wrote, and I don’t think anyone visits anyway, but

Work

I have disappeared, so it seems. Sorry – I’ve been caught up with work since December, following a regular pattern of working solidly from 9am – 12am (the next day), and that only changed for 3 days when I took a break from the 24th – 26th December. However I should reappear in not more than 2 weeks when my papers, projects, and exams are over. Don’t lose hope! [End of post]

Thanksgiving

My second Thanksgiving celebration in my life, the first being in Princeton 6 years ago, the second being last Thursday. Wonder how I spent it?

General Happenings

I have really no idea how many people still visit and read my blog, which I totally understand seeing that I have not been posting all that much, and when I do it’s mostly short and mundane. Let’s see what I can do with this post, but before I begin…

Happy Belated Birthday to my ‘little sister’ Laura Hammonds @ Millfield. Have a great year! Not sure whether she wants people to know her exact b’day, so a belated greeting is a good choice!

And congrats to Amy Yuan, Katy Hebditch and Clarice Rarity who also got into NYO!
